Loving your style! This piece blows me away. You seem to have developed some personal methods of drawing these... Could you do a tutorial or a recorded drawing sometime? I'm very curious how you get this effect.

Is that and overlay or multiply your using for the veiny/cracks of the rocks? Maybe an Darken with a smudge brush to push it after a stroke to create the under shadow? Its another great one! Great use of values. I must get back to doing some black and white practices in which you directed me a while back. Ive just been so busy painting all day at work. Kinda tired when I get home. MORE!!!!!!!!!

Hmmmmmm, no not really anything special for the rocks and etc. A bit of this and a bit of that for lighting and pushing and pulling, but the lines and shapes and whatnot are just normal paint.

I hear ya on energy to paint after work, never was good at that.

Cheers !
