I looked at a few of your works and i have to say that you either should study characters or stick to landscapes. because this is your real deal! you have such a good hand for atmosphere and room, colours and light. i'd like to visit every single of those places..
awesome work! did you establish perspective first with like a grid? I have been trying to use more perspective in my art and the perspective and angle of the boards are so perfect it seems with this work. Its really cool.
I'm too impatient for a grid I suppose, or I guess I'd rather spend the time elsewhere in the painting. However, once I had established what I wanted for this painting I did set up a simple horizon line and 1pp based on what was loosely in place and referred back to it on occasion. I figured if I got enough of the important parts working well enough in perspective no one would complain about the parts that most certainly are not.
Anyhow, I'm slowing building up a taste for more accurate draftsmanship - but I don't want it to spoil the rest you know?
